About the School
Founded in 1858, Benedictine College is a private Benedictine Catholic liberal arts university. Located in Atchison, Kansas, its 120-acre rural campus is about 50 miles northwest of Kansas City, Missouri. Enrollment is approximately 2,000 undergraduate students. Benedictine College is in the Northern Athletics Conference in the NCAA Division 3. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. There is no “Greek Life” (fraternities and sororities) on campus. Benedictine has a Campus Ministry and FOCUS ministry and is one of 15 faithfully Catholic colleges recommended by the Cardinal Newman Society.
