About the School
Founded in 1891 as a school for Quakers, George Fox University is a private Christian university. Located in Newberg, Oregon its 108-acre suburban campus is about 25 miles southwest of Portland, OR. Enrollment is approximately 2,300 undergraduate and 1,800 graduate students. George Fox is in the Northwest Conference in the NCAA Division 3. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. There is no “Greek Life” (fraternities and sororities) on campus. George Fox has a Catholic Campus Fellowship.
