About the School
Founded in 1889, Georgia College and State University, commonly known as Georgia College or GC, is a public liberal arts university. Located in Milledgeville, Georgia, its 680-acre campus is about 100 miles southeast of Atlanta. Enrollment is approximately 5,000 students. Georgia College and State University is in the Peach Belt Conference in the NCAA Division 2. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 26% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 29 fraternities and sororities. GC has a Campus Catholics student group and FOCUS ministry.
