About the School

Founded in 1876, Johns Hopkins University is a private university with an endowment over $5 billion. Located in Baltimore, Maryland, its urban campus is 140 acres. Enrollment is approximately 6,000 undergraduate and 17,000 graduate students. Its acceptance rate is less than 15%. Johns Hopkins University is in the Centennial Conference in the NCAA Division 3. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 30% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 24 fraternities and sororities. Johns Hopkins University has a Johns Hopkins Catholic Community and Thomistic Institute chapter.
