About the School
Founded in 1855, Michigan State University is a public university with a multi-billion dollar endowment. Located in East Lansing, Michigan, its suburban campus is 5,192 acres. Enrollment is approximately 40,000 undergraduate and 11,000 graduate students. Michigan State is in the Big Ten Conference in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 14% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 62 fraternities and sororities. Michigan State has a Catholic Center.
