About the School

Founded in 1964, Northern Virginia Community College is a public community college composed of six campuses in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington D.C. The college’s 51-acre Alexandria campus is 8 miles from Washington D.C. Enrollment is approximately 14,000 students. Northern Virginia Community College is in the NJCAA. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. There is no “Greek Life” (fraternities and sororities) on campus. Northern Virginia Community College has no direct Catholic associations or Catholic groups.
