About the School
Founded in 1971, Thomas Aquinas College, commonly known as TAC, is a private Catholic liberal arts college. Located in Santa Paula, California, its 845-acre rural campus is about 70 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Enrollment on the main campus is about 400 students. TAC recently opened a new campus in Northfield, Massachusetts. Thomas Aquinas College is not NCAA affiliated. They have an intramural sports system directed and run by students. There is no "Greek life" (fraternities or sororities) on campus. It is known for its Great Books curriculum and seminar style classes, and is one of 15 faithfully Catholic universities recommended by the Cardinal Newman Society.
