About the School

Founded in 1919, University of California, Los Angeles, commonly known as UCLA, is a public university with a multi-billion dollar endowment. Located in Los Angeles, California, its urban campus is 419 acres. Enrollment is approximately 30,000 undergraduate and 15,000 graduate students. Its acceptance rate is less than 15%. UCLA is in the PAC-12 Conference in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 13% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 66 fraternities and sororities. UCLA has a University Catholic Center, Thomistic Institute chapter, and FOCUS ministry.
