About the School
Founded in 1876, University of Colorado Boulder, commonly known as CU or Colorado, is a public university part of the University of Colorado System with an endowment over $1 billion. Located in Boulder, Colorado, its 600-acre urban campus is about 30 miles northwest of Denver. Enrollment is approximately 30,000 undergraduate and 3,000 graduate students. University of Colorado, Boulder is in the PAC-12 Conference in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 13% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 28 fraternities and sororities. CU has a Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center.
