About the School
Founded in 1867, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, or UIUC, is a public university with an endowment over $2 billion. Located in Champaign County, Illinois, its 1,783-acre rural campus is about 150 miles south of Chicago. Enrollment is approximately 34,000 undergraduate and 9,000 graduate students. UIUC has a Newman Center where students can live, Thomistic Institute chapter, and FOCUS ministry.
