About the School
Founded in 1883, University of North Dakota, or UND, is a public research university. Located in Grand Forks, North Dakota, UND’s 521-acre rural campus is about 250 miles from Bismarck. Enrollment is approximately 10,000 undergraduate and 2,000 graduate students. University of North Dakota is in the Summit League Conference in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 11% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 20 fraternities and sororities. University of North Dakota has a Newman Center and FOCUS ministry.
