About the School
Founded in 1871, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, or UW Oshkosh, is a public university. Located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, its 166-acre urban campus borders Lake Winnebago, about 90 miles north of both Milwaukee and Madison. Enrollment is approximately 9,000 undergraduate and 3,000 graduate students. UW Oshkosh is in the Intercollegiate Athletics Conference in the NCAA Division 3. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 5% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 10 fraternities and sororities. UW Oshkosh has a Newman Center and FOCUS ministry.
