About the School
Founded in 1906, Western Kentucky University is a public university. Located in Bowling Green, Kentucky its 200-acre urban campus is about 60 miles north of Nashville. Enrollment is approximately 15,000 undergraduate students. Western Kentucky University is in the Conference USA in the NCAA Division 1. There are also club and intramural sports on campus. Around 20% of students participate in “Greek Life” across 34 fraternities and sororities. It has a Catholic Newman Center, and a FOCUS ministry.
