Safety

Our mission at Run With Saints is to help you draw closer to God in community with faithful Catholics in your area. Our target audience is adults, not minors. If minors create an account, their profiles will be hidden from other members until they turn 18.

As you meet new people on our site, please exercise prudence in what information you share and where and under what circumstances you meet up with them. While our Terms of Use make it clear that Run With Saints is only for faithful Catholics who conduct themselves honestly and appropriately in accordance with Catholic teaching, we cannot guarantee that all users will use the site for its intended purpose. As such, we ask that you adhere to widely accepted safety protocols designed to protect you from harm:

  1. Do not share personal information online. This includes your address, social security number, date of birth, bank account number, intimate personal details, and any information that could be used to impersonate, defraud, embarrass, or otherwise harm you.
  2. Do not send money to someone online.
  3. Do not share a two-factor authentication verification code with anyone, ever.
  4. Do not click on links sent by people you don’t know or don’t know well.
  5. Meet in groups.
  6. Meet in public places.
  7. Provide your own transportation.
  8. Share your location with a friend or family member by installing an app on your phone.
  9. Leave a situation immediately if you feel unsafe.

Also, be on the lookout for people who aren’t who they say they are, which could include anyone who:

  1. Seems too good to be true.
  2. Won’t meet you in real life.
  3. Won’t meet in a group.
  4. Asks you for money.
  5. Asks deeply personal questions.

Please contact us at info@runwithsaints.org to report suspicious or inappropriate behavior so we can help protect the safety of all our members.
